SEED Corporation is pleased to announce the promotion of Tamarah Bacon to Business Development and Assistance Manager and the hiring of Angela Knight as the Marketing and Business Assistance Officer. Many of you have met Tamarah at Business Expos, Business After Hours and SEED’s Entrepreneurial Workshops held throughout the region or have received her email blasts.
Tamarah is now responsible for business development for our Micro Loan Program and small loans up to $200,000. In addition, she is also responsible for managing SEED’s business assistance programs in delivering technical assistance to SEED’s prospective and existing loan clients.
Tamarah has been with SEED for five years. She earned her Master of Arts in Public Administration with a concentration in the field of economic and community development at Bridgewater State College.
Angela Knight has joined SEED Corporation as a permanent member of our team. She worked as a marketing intern with SEED last year. Angela is responsible for SEED marketing efforts such as publications, web site management, coordination of
monthly business training sessions, trade shows, events, and maintenance and collection of SEED’s data base. Angela graduated from the University of Tampa this past May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and minor in Advertising.
As a regional nonprofit economic development corporation, South Eastern Economic Development (SEED) Corporation focuses on job creation by financing all types of small businesses in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. SEED makes loans ranging from a $1,000 Micro Loan to a $5.5 million SBA 504 Loan and also administers a small business technical assistance program.
