As an extension to the Micro Loan Program, SEED
provides small business assistance to start-up
businesses and those in the first phase of development.
With financing
from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Rockland Trust Community Development, LLC, SEED conducts
monthly training sessions and individual
sessions on a scheduled
basis with existing and potential entrepreneurs.
To assist start-up
businesses and those in the first phase of development to prepare
a Business Plan, SEED has published its Business
Plan Booklet (.pdf), which is available in hard copy by
request.
Business Library
SEED's Business Center provides all the resources needed to research the start-up, growth or expansion of a business. The center is located at the SEED office in Taunton. It has over 300 publications, videos, computer software, and Internet access for prospective or existing small business owners.
